I touched on the "How it works" link to see if I could cancel right away but still have it for 4 months, like Amazon Music, but that just took me to a page with all sorts of stuff about digital downloads. Does anyone know? Plus, do I need an Apple device of does it work with Android?
They send you a code and a redemption link to redeem your code but the link just takes you to a page telling you download Itunes. No instructions whatsoever to redeem the code. Downloaded the app and it wants to give you a free 3 month trial for registering but again, no way to redeem the code.
It's not even a hyperlink in the email. Just blue underlined text to make it look like one. Here is the redemption web page apple.co/BBYredeem[apple.co]
Yes it is apple.co not apple.com. Apple.com/BBYredeem takes you to an invalid page
Since you can't redeem the code, you can't make an account, and it required a credit card to get it, this is a set up to charge you after 4 months with no way to cancel.
Update: Tried to download Itunes to my Windows laptop, which I don't want to do as I want it on my phone, to see if I can redeem and immediately cancel but I get an error during the download. Says it is because I don't have Windows set up for updates. I guess they want to install spyware. I download and install all sorts of other programs without having to have Windows updates on.
Contacted Best Buy customer service chat. They were very evasive. Said they couldn't find the SKU after giving it to them. Then said they couldn't help.
Suspicious that a first time poster posts a fake deal.

This is a fake offer to charge your credit card. They send you a redemption code with a link but the link just takes you to a page telling you to download Apple Music. Nothing telling you how to redeem the code. Since you can't redeem the code you can't create an account so you can't cancel and they will charge the credit card forever since a credit card was required to get the free offer.
Because their updates tend to break stuff. Last update disabled my USB drivers. Most of their updates are done to install more spyware or to justify their job. Went many years before updating Windows XP, never updated Windows 7, and have now disabled Windows 10 updates. Never had any issues.

how can they charge your card if you can't even sign up?

Weird. It worked for me but I used an iPhone. Took me to a page in iTunes for me to enter my code. Appears to still let me cancel too.

I tried FireFox and Chrome in Windows 10. I then tried it o a Windows 8 computer with both browsers and same issue. I then tried it with an Opera browser in Android and same issue. At the least they can't make a webpage and at the most it is a scam that targets every few people. Notice how there are only like 7 reviews.
