Redpocket device compatiblity question (CDMAS/Sprint)

I need a cheap emergency phone plan, and found this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-50-Mo-...3196831828

I have an unlocked Moto G6 that I previously used on AT&T. Can I use this plan with this device? I checked the phone's IMEI on Sprint's website, and it says it should be compatible.

What "SIM Type" do I need to select? I need a nano SIM. I asked the seller, but they're completely useless and say if my phone is not in that list then it won't work. I find that hard to believe, though.

I would think any of the Samsung kits should work.

Well, that's what I'm thinking, too, but I have no experience with Sprint. They make it sound like any phone not in that list will not work. But to me it's just a SIM, should work in any device that is Sprint-compatible, right?

Not sure if a special sim is needed. Most of the time a sim gets tied to a phone and is not really movable, but a new SIM should work if it fits. When I went in for a sim for an unlocked phone they just handed me a random sim and it worked.

That's mostly my experience with AT&T based SIM cards, though I never had problems moving sim cards to other unlocked phones. I just don't have any idea if that's the same with CDMAS.

That's for sprint. Because they use imei and sim card. The sim then looks for your serial number. I have swapped sprint Sims and data worked, but it was always yelling at me that it did not belong to that phone.

Ah, so get a Sprint SIM and then I should be good to go and be able to use that Redpocket plan? That sounds easy... Thanks!

Or skip buying the separate sim card and select "Galaxy S8" for "Sim Type" on the ebay page, which according to that PDF should be the same part number?

Yes, the Moto G6 uses the same SIM as the Galaxy S8.

Got the sim card in the mail yesterday and finally got around to give it a try. Had some weird issue activating it, but support chat was able to activate it for me. Everything seems to work, except VoLTE. Might not be supported, but I guess I don't really care too much about it. Thanks again!
