Original Bioshock came out over 12 years ago and still has more soul than most games published today.

Game runs like ass on PC. My PC shouldn't struggle to play this old game.
There were some random issues with the remasters. I'm not sure of the details. I bought the collection a few years back when I had a dell laptop with a 1050. Nothing crazy, but it should handle this game no problem. It ran like absolute garbage. I now have an Acer laptop with very similar specs (even has a 1050 as well) and it runs perfectly. I don't get it. It really does seem to differ from system to system.

I already have half of this collection... I wonder if it's worth picking up the other half

I am wondering the same thing. I am missing DLC from the first two games.

Dells have a thermal throttling issue in older models that they barely address with bios update and latest Nvidia drivers on the 9th gen intels with dedicated graphics it could be the reason it wasn't working.

I played all 3 games (AMD 570 8GB).The only game that crashed more than 10 times was BioShock 2 remastered. The other two no issues at all.

Bioshock 2 crashed for me so often that I simply dropped the game 5 hours in. I would lose all progress if I didn't save every 5 minutes which would make me incredibly paranoid.

Wasn't worth it for me. My 2 cents. Bioshock 1 was an amazing play. Heard great things about Infinite as well.
