Best Buy [bestbuy.com] has the BlackBerry KEY2 LE (champagne) w/ 64 GB memory Android smartphone (unlocked) for $200 w/ AT&T activation or $250 without activation.

This phone works with Verizon. The info on the Best Buy page is incorrect.

In case you are wondering why I chose this phone above all others, here are some of the reasons:

1. Physical keyboard allows for 52 shortcuts. For example, pressing "W" initiates a text message to my wife and holding down the same key dials her number. Another example is I have the "F" key set to turn on the flashlight via a long press.
2. Physical keyboard is a joy to type on. However, if you are used to typing on virtual keyboards, it will take about 1-2 weeks to get used to this keyboard.
3. Top-notch security and privacy.
4. Productivity-focused apps like the Hub.
5. Security- and privacy-focused apps like DTEK and Password Keeper.
6. Three finger swipe down anywhere on the screen to launch the very cool Privacy Shade (see this screenshot [googleusercontent.com]).
7. Convenience key is handy.
8. Fingerprint reader integrated into the space bar is a genius idea.
9. Monthly security updates.

I really want to try this, but know it won't be good as the phone I have now. I can't justify spending $250 on something I will end up putting in a drawer. Hoping they fire sale these at some point.

OTG and can't look it up myself. Would this be a better upgrade from my Razer Phone 2? I need something that actually works as a phone!

Depends how you use your phone. The Key2 LE is significantly inferior than the Pixel 3 and Razer 2 for games and watching videos. The Key 2 LE is significantly better for typing. Pixel 3 camera is significantly better.

Each has its advantages, but in terms of specs, the Pixel 3 gets the upper hand, mainly due to the faster CPU (see the specs comparison here [gsmarena.com]). However, the productivity, security, and privacy features of the BB are so good that I'm willing to sacrifice performance and camera quality. Also, the BB has a microSD slot and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Talking about security, you cannot ignore that the Pixel 3 has Android 10 with the latest security patch. This phone has Android 8, and who-knows-what security patch.

Yes, if you want the latest Android OS, Pixel is the way to go. In terms of security updates, BB has been good with those; my KEY2 LE using Verizon is on the November 5, 2019 patch. An update should be coming in any day. BB said Android 9 would be coming to this phone. However, they don't have the greatest reputation for releasing OS updates. Whether you choose this BB or a Pixel all comes down to what's more important to you in a phone.
