" it's the perfect alternative to homemade laundry detergent."?
This is 2020. Do a significant amount of people still roll their own laundry soap?
Never heard of such a thing and I have lived in some fairly twigs and berries based communities in the past. Maybe the exception was for Fels Naptha and even that's made in a factory. If you care to check out the ingredients on Purex's page much of it may have it's precursors in raw plant material but it's come a long way baby thanks to organic chemistry.
Don't you have to charge out the ying-yang to give your "all natural" products some cred not to mention come up with some clever packaging?

What's up with some of these notification titles starting with "B-Complex tablets"? Huh? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

Not long ago when I looked it up, diy laundry detergent was very much so a thing.

We've used this soap in the past. I know the wife usually poured it into the washer without measuring it so she prob used 2X as much. I get the feeling it is fine for regular clothes but other detergent may be better at taking out stains and dirt, etc.

This is an awful price. I never pay more than $0.99/50oz. You're effectively paying shipping. My grocery store has Purex for $0.77. Scamazon strikes again.

No. Not for regular loads and neither is the price. I always have a bottle or two lying around and use these as a pretreatment for my kids stained clothing. You can get these for $1 when they go on sale at your supermarket.
