There is a proposed tariff going to be placed on olive oil imported from the E.U...so stock up while it's cheap.

Unofficially proposed. Won't go anywhere. Just saber rattling. Even if the tariff does go into effect, why do people object to paying it? It's nothing more than an increase in taxes.

It's cheaper to get everything bulk in general, if you actually can use that much before they go rancid. EVOO doesn't have a very long shelf life.

this regularly drops below $3, as low as $2.20 a few weeks ago. At 24¢/oz it's a pretty terrible price—it's 17¢/oz at my local grocery store without any discounts. Not sure why this is getting TU?

The stuff I bought a few weeks ago has an expiration date of March 2021. Seems pretty long to me.

Not the robust version. It's at the lowest price ever according to camel

Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 68 Ounce
$13.98 or $0.21/oz

This deal is 16oz for $4.48 or $0.28/oz (%33 more expensive) = not a hot deal

Both 68oz and 16oz can be S&S, both eligible for 5% or 15% off.

Although Amazon is famous for never allowing phony imports, I only buy non-imported California olive oil...
