Cool, didn't know I needed one but I think I do. Will work fine for my purposes - minor/opportunistic theft deterrence on a cruise.

Oh sweet, I've always wanted to store my all valuables at once in one easy to snatch thing. This will be perfect.

Yea I'm sure there are better options but it totally depends on your use. As others have said maybe if you're at the beach or a public pool and you want to lock up your phone while you're in the water this could be an option. Obviously going to be better than just hiding it in your shoe or bag, but I wouldn't pay more than this SD price for this

Linking lockpicking lawyer vids isn't exactly a fair assessment. This isn't going to stand up to anyone seriously intent on getting into it but it's going to stop people who would seize an opportunity. It's a deterrent.

Nothing says "don't steal my wallet and phone" more than a portable, breakable safe. It's like you're gift wrapping it for them.

It could also be seen as an opportunity. Easy target that has a likely chance of containing valuables like phones. I was able to recognizing it fairly quickly. But I do understand it has its use. Better to be informed about just how safe it actually is. Would make a snatch and run less likely, I just wouldn't leave it to far away or out of line of sight.

Probably still pretty effective for attaching it to a gym bag that gets thrown next to a basketball court or in the short stands next to a court when playing ball. The punks that would grab someone's phone or wallet from a bag aren't likely going to know what these things are.

Read the reviews discussing the poor quality (hinge breaking, combination numbers fading after short use).

If you're ok with that, I'd agree with others that this should only be used as a deterrent from snatch & grab theft at a pool or beach where you can lock it to something like your chair (and cover it with your towel or clothing). Even then, with the quality issues it sounds like it won't last long.

If you want something that will last, look at the PacSafe Travelsafe products.
