Lego architecture releases always skyrocket in value after they're discontinued. I'll probably pick this up to hang on to for later. Very good deal.

The no face is creepy. For nearly $100, it was too much to make one piece with a face on it? Or is this not the actual statue of liberty and some transformers thing?

Personally, I like the simplicity of the architecture sets. Just so clean. IMO the face would've cheapened the look.

A retail "sale", for sure.....but you can routinely find this set NIB for <$90 on Bricklink. Unless you plan to try this as an investment for after it's discontinued, this really isn't that great of a deal.

FYI, on Amazon the $95.95 price is from a third party seller. If you'd like the peace of mind of buying directly from Amazon (or have a promo code that requires it), you'll need to change the seller to Amazon.com and the price will be four cents more at $95.99.

I can understand not wanting thumb downs but a selection of the thumbs down is what you tell us not to do.

So you should also email Slickdeals to change their thumbs down policy. I do select thumbs down when the deal can no longer be duplicated

That beside the point in for one and repped

Update could not repped says I have to rep others and not you sorry(tried multiple times )
You thumb down if you simply can't replicate the deal? What if you're coming onto the post late or after 5000 other SDers already purchased and rendered it a dead deal? This happened to me the other day - in fact, my post had already been expired for an hour or so, and people were still TDing it. I guess it's not a big deal since I get nothing out of posting, but it's a bit exasperating when out of my control.
