    Yes, most definitely.. especially if you have one of those Nvidia cards supporting gsync. You'll notice the upgrade from 60 to 144hz most significantly in FPS games. You'll be able to actually see the path of a projectile (for example, an arrow let loose from a bow) much more clearly. It's you're playing a single-player role playing game or MMORPG, this upgrade won't matter nearly as much - obviously. Frame rate (hz) is generally very important for hitscan or projectile players in FPS ... I'm just stating one clear point of view.

    I've owned this panel and this is the only time I didn't care that it was TN. I don't know what Dell is doing with this panel but it's superb in my opinion.

    I agree , the TN thing is overblown , if it is TN then I can't tell . This is from someone that has a Dell Ultrasharp ips monitor and now this . Do not let the TN thing keep you from purchasing it . You will be pleasantly surprised

    My old 1440p 60Hz monitor works great, but I'm building a new gaming PC with a 2070 super. Is gsync and 144hz that significant of an upgrade?

    Yes, most definitely.. especially if you have one of those Nvidia cards supporting gsync. You'll notice the upgrade from 60 to 144hz most significantly in FPS games.     There are guides on how to set up the color on this to make it look great. I currently have a asus pg348q and 2 of these dells. I personally prefer to game on these.
