Pretty decent deal, especially for states that do not collect taxes. Note that this MBP 16 has a different keyboard, which is set between the conventional ones (e.g. 2012-2015) and the digital ones (e.g. 2016-2018). Also, you got a physical escape key, which is awesome.

Outside of Google Shopping the lowest historically low price for this 16" is $2,149.99

I was able to price match it as I have an international credit card that Walmart.com wont accept

Nothing special about this price. It is the same as Apple's Education pricing $2,199 which anyone can get.

It's nuts isn't it...then again i just picked up a 17 windows laptop, i figure my last macbook i bought in 15 for around 1600, i got into this msi for 550 bumped the ram to 32g, added evo ssds. i can toss, flip, upgrade it at current macbook rates in 1 or 2 years and still break even. it's been that many years and i haven't done nothing and at home powerbooks , macs before that i work with tech all day i don't want to putz with bs when i get home. But hey...2k plus is nuts i have windows laptops for work so i got a windows for home and will put that change in my pocket because it's nuts to be frivolous spending right now with the market returns (but god bless the spenders)

but i gotta tell you it's hard not to justisfy the cost *unless* you're into gaming, because windows really is a royal pos as it's always been. Amazingly the same stupid behaviors and problems are still there from 20 years ago the last time i used them for home.

edit, another thing to note is the shell durability, you really can beat the heck out of the macbook pros, this windows performance gaming laptop would end up on ebay first drop, i've dropped dented the 2012 macbook pro multitudes of times. Not so say you can't get a durable windows machine, the business lines (lattiudes, etc ) are pretty stout but business performance weak machines and expensive as heck.
