I have wyze outdoors and it works well for me. I use a external enclosure (you can find on ebay)

Yes it's not 100% waterproof, but over 1 year outside no problem for me.
I've thought about it I think the biggest thing for me that i didn't mention is I've had some issues with playback. In general if there is a short period of movement its hard to get the cursor on that time period. One camera doesn't load the playback or takes a long time to, and then on the other one when I click "view playback" it doesn't do anything. I realize I could contact support and potentially solve the issues but I'm at a point where I may try investing more money in an outdoor solution with the hopes its more reliable.

Brickseek showed "limited stock" to all, then not even an hour later it showed "Out of Stock". shady...
Same thing around here, although most stores showed 2 in stock. Now OOS everywhere.

Has anyone tried going to the store?

Curious why buy this when wyze cam is $20?
I have ring flood light cam outside and Wyze cams inside. To me there is seriously Is no comparison.

Ring has much better interface, alerts, quality. And I can actually fast forward and rewind easily. Wyze denifitly serves a purpose. It's a fraction of the price and no fee for the service ( I use ring alarm so nothing extra for me). It is almost impossible to scan through the video to a specific spot in Wyze. I'll try and rewind 15 seconds and ended up rewinding 2 mins. Very finicky.

Also Wyze cam will record a few seconds (12?) intervals. Or you can put a memory card in, but if someone swipes the camera, the footage is gone.

I think they now offer cloud recording. I want to say for $3 per cam but not sure.

If you can afford Ring cam, go with that, but Wyze isn't a bad option otherwise. I use Wyze to keep an eye on the kids. I plan on getting a ring doorbell once I move. Also if you get robbed for your camera, I believe Ring will replace it.

Was in Home Depot just now shopping for the Dewalt Knives (got 2). Thought what the heck. Picked up the Ring camera, showed them the BrickSeek price of $109 and asked " Would you match even though Office Depot was showing OOS everywhere nearby?", said "Sure as long as its the same model number", which it was bought one along with the DeWalt knives".

Guess if I see a prowler on my new camera I'm ready for him with my Dewalt knives!

So I was able to order online for in store pick up but price on my email invoice shows $199.99. When I checked BS for my local store, it was $109.99. Would price adjust automatically when I do the pick like it did for HD on recent Tiles deal?

I have 2 of the wired versions and it does what it's supposed to do. I have noticed there is a lag but not as bad as with my Arlo Pro's. Liked these b/c I don't have to charge the batteries.

the cord is around 20 ft long
Yeah, that's still not long enough for me. The two outdoor outlets that I know about are by my front door or by the back deck of my house, whereas I need the outlet to be on the side of the house nearer to my garage. That's about 50 feet either way.

Oh c''mon! Lop off the plug and add wire and a new plug to make it as long as you want. Or an extension cord if you're not that brave!

Heck drill a small hole in the house and run it to the garage or attic and pick up power. Where's that American ingenuity!

I always like face to face transactions. Had me cell phone, showed HD cashier the Brickseek deal at OfficeDepot, matched the price no problem

Because you are lucky that you just found a dumb cashier. Noone would accept a pricematch from some stupid websites.

Sure they do. All the time. How do you think the come up with the price match, get in their cars and drive down to OfficeDepot to verify the price? Do this all the time.
