I don't know for sure if it can be changed on an s9, but on my s10+ I changed the Bixby button to turn on/off the flashlight. Pretty sure it'll work on S9. I also don't remember where in this thread it says it though. Also that thread is good for removing garbage you don't want/use.

The app to do it. Maybe the app explains how too I don't remember.

Thanks! But I am pretty sure it's only customizable on s10 onwards. That's why I am very hopeful that Samsung will come to their sense and launch Dolby Vision to their 2020 TV's. I am even hoping they would support on 2019. After all DV has a software only implementation. I heard all 2019 Samsung soundbar already support Dolby Vision passthrough but they don't advertise it. These all make me optimistic. Looking forward to ces 2020.

I own this model QN65Q70RAFXZA. I purchased at Best Buy for $1,199 and it was worth it. 120hz at 1440p with my RTX 2060 and G-SYNC enabled. I know OLED tvs are the kings of black, but this one does a pretty good job and it has a super fast interface. Movies look great and gaming awesome as well. Now, I do not know if this is a Slickdeal, but if you decide to go for I can tell you that you won't be disappointed.

So, philosophically, I think our definitions of "slick deals" varies greatly. TVs of this caliber and price I would never consider a slick deal mainly because of the rapid depreciation it's going to experience. Are you willing to pay $2500 for a tv that's going to be $500-$800 in 2 years? TV technology improves rapidly and this years expensive TV is next years close out deal. Also for all of those who think MacBooks are overpriced, but would buy this tv, that MacBook can sell very close to retail within 2 years, while this TV will not.
Remember how expensive 3D TVs were with the glasses that have batteries? How many of those do you see today?
This is the dumbest thing i've read in awhile on SD.

Name 1 thing in tech that doesn't depreciate greatly in two years. Your assessment of Apple product residual value is so totally off base, it makes everything you write moving forward in the rest of your existence on SD null and void.

lol..."Macook can sell very close to retail within 2 years"...... LMGTFY.

i believe you! That being said, I am tired of Samsung dictating my life. I am a loyal Samsung customer. Bought many Samsung products. Right now using S9+ and two out of our 3 TVs are Samsung! And we are happy with those Samsung TVs. As I mentioend earlier, I owned Q70 for a month and we liked that too. But seriously, why Samsung needs to dictate what format I get to watch on my $3K TV?? I am already tired of Bixby button on my S9+.

Samsung is one of the few companies that actually innovate. Sony basically buys LG panels and repackage. But until Samsung learns to grow up, and respect its loyal users and their needs and supports major format like Dolby Vision, they are not getting my $3K.
As if Samsung gives a $hit for your non existent $3K... get a life.. And stop pretending you can afford one like this.. If you could, you would have one already instead of writing a story

EPP is the first step to slash downs of pricing. I advise you to hold a month more to get either an even better deal in one of the big box stores. This timing aligns perfectly with February.

If you were looking for a cheaper TV - less than or around a $1000, the percentage of discount may not be that great in Feb, but for something over $2000 you may easily get a much better deal in February.

Uncalled for personal attack. It's ok. I got used to occasional uncouth online folks. And you are the reason Samsung can still get away without Dolby Vision. Not even going to ask about your wealth. There are many dumber but wealthier people than me. But $3k is not a wealth indicator anyways. Wish you could at least understand that.
