Clif makes good stuff. Been using their Clifshot for years---great for preventing bonking when cycling/running.

14 grams of sugar and little electrolytes. I'll keep looking.

How better or worse are these compared to Gatorade mix?

I love most Clif products, but this looks like something for the hummingbird feeder.

Worse less electrolytes and less potent formula probably more sugar too but that depends on which Gatorade you are drinking.

Much much better. Tailwind is worth every penny, even at full price. I'll gulp down 20 oz bottles every 6 or 7 miles, in 15-20 seconds each, during my long runs with absolutely zero stomach issues. I've tried water/Gatorade/Cytomax/everything else, but even sipping on smaller quantities (stopping for a few minutes to intake 8-12 oz), they all start sloshing around pretty quick on me, resulting in stomach cramps. Tailwind provides sustained enerygy, so no jolt to your system like gels or energy chews. IMHO, there's no comparison. It's fricken magic.

50 servings for ~$32 with S&S for anyone interested, or head to your local running/cycling shop and try the single serving packets for ~$2.50 each usually. https://www.amazon.com/Tailwind-N...B017GEK9QC

Marathon. 20+ mile runs most weekends, depending on the season. I don't have any experience in long rides, but I know gut bombs are just as prevalent in the saddle as well.
