Appear to be made in Vietnam, if that's a concern.
(Many folks avoid Chinese made treats)
Brand website mentions claims of high FDA-level standards at all facilities they use.

These have two huge strikes against them. They're made in Vietnam and/or China and they contain sorbitol. Sorbitol is not good for dogs or humans. Although sorbitol will not poison your dog, it is often prescribed as a laxative.

My dogs love them, so that's the only concern with me, even if they use Soylent Green.

Good call. Never will my dog eat anything from Vietnam, China or anywhere else except USA, which could be bad enough. I'll go in the woods and look for some natural deer antlers Wink

My dog loves these things. We put them in one of these: West Paw Zogoflex Qwizl... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N3BC...b_ap_share to give her a little more of a challenge otherwise she devours then pretty quickly.

You don't want to sell me DreamSticks.
You want to go home and rethink your life.

What size West Paw puzzle works better with these dream sticks? (suddenly, this $1 treat is going to cost me $16...)

That is like people in Vietnam saying they won't buy anything made in North America such as Mexico and the USA. Vietnam is not the same as China.

Rawhide

Despite your informative post, this is already #1 rawhide treat on amazon. https://static.slickdealscdn.com/ima...lies/frown.gif
  1. Cattle hides are shipped from slaughterhouses to tanneries for processing. These hides are then treated with a chemical bath to help "preserve" the product during transport to help prevent spoilage.
  2. The hides are soaked and treated with either an ash-lye solution or a highly toxic recipe of sodium sulphide liming. This process will help strip the hair and fat that maybe attached to the hides themselves.
  3. Hides are washed and whitened using a solution of hydrogen peroxide and/or bleach; this will also help remove the smell of the rotten or putrid leather.
  4. Post processing stage, basted, smoked, and decoratively tinted products might be any color (or odor) underneath the coating of (often artificial) dyes and flavors. They can even be painted with a coating of titanium oxide to make them appear white and pretty on the pet store shelves.
  5. Preservation additives are added to the product, when tested: Lead, Arsenic, Mercury, Chromium salts, Formaldehyde and other toxic chemicals have been detected in rawhides.
So no it is not always just "RawHides" as an ingredient
