Just had a cool thought: for normal bookshelves: Two stands for each speaker: speaker in the middle, touching a stand on the floor, and the other on the ceiling.

Do you partake in the Mary Jane?

Hang in there man. Keep taking care of what is important first, and take what steps (however small) when you can to get to your goals. I wish you the best.

I was where you were a few years back, and eventually I found myself in a place to celebrate. When I look at mine, I am reminded of when I got the job I really wanted.
In the end, the achievement was worth the work, and I don't feel guilty about splurging. I guess that is the best one can hope for when buying a non-essential gadget/toy.

Thank you. I am blessed to have a roof over my head and a car to get me back and forth to work. I been at my job 10 years and it just doesn't seem like I should still be struggling. I mean my water and light bill is now 350.00 a month ... that pretty much my whole check so I have to lean on food pantries!?? It shouldn't be this way. But I'm still blessed to have what little bit I have.

I recently bought the Sonos beam and I feel it's a little lacking. I've never owned a home theater but loved the idea of building my own. Piece by piece. I will forge on and eventually get a pair of SL ones and see if that makes the sound any better. But for now the Sonos beam sounds like my 55' Samsung tv speakers. I have it plugged into arc, so I have that going. But I'm not sure if I should ditch Sonos for something that supports Dolby Atmos? I get it's "just" the beam and not the higher end Sonos. I've seen quite a few reviews where some people said they liked the beam better than the higher end Sonos sound bars. Any input from anyone?

The Beam was underpowered to pair with Sonos Ones for surround, so I got the Playbar. It's much better, but still outclassed by the Ones. Now I'm wondering if I could make surround with 5 Ones.
