No, there's one documented case.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check...-estrogen/

"The assertion that soy-based products can lead to female secondary sexual characteristics in males is apparently based on a single 2008 case study in which a Texas man who drank "a daily intake of 3 quarts of soy milk" developed breasts and breast soreness. These symptoms subsided, doctors reported, after he stopped consuming soy. Using a single case report from 2008 to set an empirical threshold for a medical risk is not science but an appeal to fear without context."

"While the amount of phytoestrogen in an Impossible Whopper does sound terrifyingly massive when compared to the negligible amount of estrogen in beef, the amount present in the Impossible Whopper is not out of line with phytoestrogen consumption in regions of the world that regularly consume large amounts of soy (and have done so safely for centuries). These billions of people provide strong support for the possibility that the one man in Texas' potentially soy-induced breasts is — to say the least — an outlier."

PSA Be sure to check the expiration date when it arrives. There has been a huge issue with Soylent shipping expired (or soon to be expired) product. Amazon is great about issuing refunds, but if you stockpile it without looking you might not notice. It's on the box, don't have to open.

Yes it's still "safe" to drink, but the one time it happened to me Amazon let me keep it. No deal slicker than free.

Is there any way to get the 15% S&S discount on this? It looks like there are two delivery options: fast, with 5% savings, or the regular week+ lead time with S&S. Even with 5 items in my current subscription, the fast option only gives me 5% savings. But it looks like this deal will expire in one day and the price will rise, causing the longer-lead-time subscription with 15% savings to charge the future (non-discounted) cost. Unless it honors the price when added to the cart? I'd like to pick up at least five, so I'd really like the 15% savings. Looking for advice!

I'm not sure this will help you, but I already had 5 S&S for this month (delivery 1/28) and it only gave me one choice - delivery this month at the 15% off. $23.20. Good luck!

Isn't it proven over and over that soy contains high levels of estrogen and for men it can lead to ED, growing moobs and other problems? Aren't there alternative proteins that taste better and are safer?

"Soy is a phytoestrogen, or a plant based estrogen"

These taste chalky. If you need a meal replacement I recommend huel
Just started trying the Huel's and so far I am very pleased. The Chocolate is very good and the mixed Berry is tasty too. The vanilla is ok but tastes good with a shot of coffee in it. The Huel is also very filling, keeping me full for hours.

I have also heard good things about MRE but haven't had a chance to try it yet.

These aren't chalky, don't know how the huel corporate overlords got in here, but don't listen to them. There are two flavors of soylent that are worth: mocha and original. Mocha tastes like your run of the mill chocolate milk and original tastes like pancake batter. I actually like original more. I'd be interested to get mint chocolate at some point.

Soylent can't control what Amazon ships. Still a good tip but I wouldn't blame Soylent unless they're also shipping expired product when it's ordered direct from their website.

I've had all but the chocolate mint and have never thought to use chalky as a way of describing any of them. They're all pretty good imo.

Not chalky at all.

I wish Mint Chocolate was available. My faves are Original, Mint Chocolate and Cacao. The coffee flavors are nasty.
