Amazon has Optimum Nutrition Natural Whey Protein 4.8 lbs for $40.31. It is as low as 38.29 with Subscribe and Save. This is way below the regular price for the Natural product.

This deal comes around every so often and is a great price on ON Natural.

Chocolate: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QQA0...PDKIKX0DER

Vanilla: https://www.amazon.com/OPTIMUM-NU...DER&sr=1-6

15% more protein and 60% more expensive than amazon brand. 43g pure protein per dollar vs 60g per dollar. Is this significantly better quality than the amazon brand?

French Vanilla Creme & Double Rich Chocolate are a few bucks cheaper (FVC is less than $32) - https://slickdeals.net/f/13780034-optimum-nutrition-gold-standard-100-whey-protein-powder-french-vanilla-creme-5-pound-as-low-as-31-89-w-s-s
The Costco deal is not for the all natural version. It contains acesulfame potassium/sucralose, which is a deal breaker for some people. The natural version has no artificial sweeteners. My local Costco did have an ON whey protein isolate that was naturally sweetened. I want to say it was $30 in store but it shows up as $32 online.

Wasn't this like $10-15 cheaper a day or two ago?

Edit: nvmd, not for Natural

The deal I'm talking about is at Amazon, not Costco.

But you are right, this deal is for the natural version and the lower price is not natural. I know it is a deal breaker for some, for me Natural is a deal breaker because it tastes terrible compared to the regular Gold Standard, and I don't buy into the artificial sweetener mythology. Not a single legitimate study has ever shown harm to artificial sweetener consumption even after very long term use. Just anecdotal evidence and some studies which tie artificial sweetener to people consuming more calories. That is a real thing for people who do not carefully monitor their calorie intake. But that's more applicable to diet sodas and such because anyone using whey protein as a supplement should be monitoring.

This is actually a better product and better deal for $22.69 with 15% subscribe & save discount for 59 servings, vs the 68 ON servings for $38.30:

Designer Whey Protein Powder, French Vanilla, 4 Pound, Non GMO https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001CCU...eEbJV6VV3F

One of Amazon's daily deals includes a bunch of Optimum Nutrition products. They don't need to be spammed on the front page individually.

Natural vanilla tastes horrible. Get chocolate or strawberry instead.

Not a true apples to apples comparison there ...

I like my whiskey at the alcohol strength it was intended at and not at some watered down strength .....

If you want to eat more protein but not eat more carbs/filler etc then you want higher % protein.... it's not a case of "quality"
