I don't have much experience with it yet, mine just showed up from the last deal. All I have done is charge it.

I did research it a bit before buying and it seemed well reviewed and reasonably priced, and this is cheaper by a few dollars.

Mine still hasn't shown up from the last deal... Amazon logistics shipped it from the east coast to the west coast and now it's in its way back east to me. Entire week on the road. 🙄

For personal use I prefer lithium over the lead acid battery ones. I've had bad luck with the lead acid with them not holding a charge for more than a month and being dead when I needed them. Lithium tend to hold a charge for longer periods, they are light and take up less space. I have a different brand than this, but it still holds a full charge even after sitting for a few months in my trunk. I do suggest you check it at least once a month using the built in battery gauge.

I see tons of those returned. This is the best one on the market right now.

I have a different brand "GOOLOO" of jump starter (also 1500 instead of 2200 capacity) that has already saved me once after leaving my lights on and I also happened to stop at a gas station when someone couldn't start their car and instead of fumbling around with jumper cables and orienting the cars right, I was able to quickly hook it up, press a button, and get the stranger back on the road.

Everyone should have one of these! Mine fits in my glove box and I remove it to check the charge/top off the charge every 3 months or so (and even after 3 months it's only drained about 10% and still usable for jumps).

My costco old bulky air pump/battery jump starter couldn't jump start my car. I had to call roadside assist to jump start. Would this be better than my old bulky combination jump starter.

There is a good YouTube video out there with a comparison of 6 of these. I got 2 of these. Haven't tested them yet.

You can return at costco at any time right? It's not really an electronic device.. So technically if the battery goes weak in a year or two and doesn't work you can still return it...
