This would be awesome if that 30% off thing comes back around (or even a lesser amount). I might sit on this until I see an UberEats coupon

Cheaper but not free. App prices are higher than menu prices.

Try the Blue Card if not looking to pay a yearly fee.

Does anyone else not trust Uber drivers to eat their food? At least with delivery people that work for the restaurant, there is some fear of accountability but contractors will do anything to your food.

No more than worrying what a restaurant worker does behind the scenes before the food gets to your table Smilie

Pro tip: be nice to the people that handle your food.

Nothing on any of my four cards, but my Business Platinum did have 10% off Grubhub/Seamless up to a total of $75.

This works great in combination with the monthly $15 Uber credit from American Express Platinum.

If you order something like fries it's possible. But the chances of a slice being missing from a pizza or a bite being taken out of your sandwich seems pretty nil to me. I'm no more worried about it than I am about Domino's or any other Italian or Chinese delivery place.

It's also arguably the other way around with what you said at the end there because it's a lot easier to terminate a contractor than an employee who enjoys various legal protections a contractor does not. I imagine Uber wouldn't really be too worried about getting rid of someone after a couple of customer complaints about missing food.
