DLC is ridiculous for this game!! Over $1000 for it all.

This game should be less with what they give you on disk!

Come one now, this game is purely a casual fighting game. And it just $15; not $59.99 when it first came out...

The series are great and so is this game. Yes, DLC is a complete rip off and I want the developer to know that we aren't gonna spend any dime on the DLC. They will listen...

I bought the game used. I don't support ridiculous dlc structure like this at all.

DLC aside, how has the game serviced you?

I'm a fan of the series and a contributor to the KT's DLC business model. In DOA5LR, I bought every single season pass they released. Crazy I'm trying to be less of a contributor this time with DOA6 because even a blind fan need to wake up sometime. Now I buy just some of the outfits for the characters I use most often. So 3 season passes later, I've spent about $100 worth of DLCs (costumes and characters) for all 3 platforms that I own the game on, a significant improvement on my end. laugh out loud

To all the people crying about DLCs, they can cry all they want but nothing is going to change and it will only get worse over time. This is especially true for the fighting game genre, one of if not the worst offenders. Some companies does it a bit more tame like Namco and WB, while others go all out like KT and Capcom. So, if anyone really can't handle this type of business model, he/she needs to skip this genre completely. I don't like this type of business model either and would much rather it be like the old days where you actually unlock them for playing. But it is what it is and it has been like this for most of the last decade for this genre, getting worse each iteration of every franchise.

That's cool if you have the money and love the game... I've been playing since the first game, but haven't played 4-6 😂 I want to and loved unlocking costumes and endings... Since you're the master here, are there any costumes and stuff to unlock with just the game? Or are all costumes DLC?

lmao i'm so glad this game flopped mainly because of the developers flip flopping on the content of the game.

There are 5 outfits with 3 color variations for each of the girls and 2 for the guys in the base game that you can unlock. They've added, via patches, 1 additional unlockable outfit for Kasumi, Lei Fang, Hayabusa, Hayate, Marie Rose, and Mila. Other unlockables are titles, soundtracks from DOA1-5, and DOA encyclopedia.

It did semi-flopped compare to all previous DOA fighting games.

Well what the best DOA game that has everything? No DLC, micro transaction, and such? Like Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition in comparison...

DOA2 Ultimate for the og Xbox. No DLC, 20 costumes for every girl via in-game unlocks. DOA4 on the 360 also was a complete game with no DLC, though built-in costumes were limited. After that, it's DLC galore. If you want a DOA game on today's system, then DOA5 Last Round, which is the final revision, has more contents than you'll get in DOA6 as of today and much less grind to unlock in-game contents. Although DOA5LR is the last revision for 5, there are 7 expensive season passes after its release so.. yea lol
