Walt Disney World have their popular free dining plans available. Book a vacation package (5-night/6-day) at a select Disney Resort hotel with park hopper tickets on select nights and get their dining plan for free. The best thing about staying on-site is the free shuttles to all the Disney Parks and attractions including Disney Springs and ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Walt Disney World [go.com]
Book through January 16, 2020
Travel most nights June 27-28, July 5-7, and August 29 - September 8, 2020.

Pro Tip: If Disney is offering this, so are all their authorized re-sellers. Definitely check their sites (Ares Travel [arestravel.com], Kayak [kayak.com], Travelocity [travelocity.com], etc) and check what exclusive incentive they are offering ON TOP of this deal for choosing them.

The number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. Everyone in the same room must be on the same package. Theme park tickets valid for admission beginning on date of check-in and must be used within 9 days of check-in.

Dining Plan depends on the Hotel category:
Disney Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels - FREE Disney Dining Plan
Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels - FREE Disney Dining Plan
Disney Moderate Resort Hotels - FREE Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan
Disney Value Resort Hotels - FREE Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan

FYI - If you book a value or moderate, you should be able to upgrade to Disney Dining Plan by paying the small difference per person/per night.

Quick Service Dining Plan includes 2 Quick Service meals and 2 Snacks per person, per night of stay
Disney Dining Plan includes 1 Quick Service meal, 1 Table-Service (sit down) meal and 2 Snacks, per person, per night of stay.

Reservation requires $200 total deposit per room, balance due 30 days before arrival, regardless of who you book with.

You should have no problem booking a package with an authorized travel agent. But note that some internet sites would not be able to offer this. If they are making you pay in full or separate for tickets, this is NOT what you want.

You can book Table-Service reservations 180 days in advance. This is a must for several venues.

Am I understanding correctly that you must arrive on one of those dates listed? This is a very, very narrow window, isn't it?

Correct. You need to arrive within those windows. Your stay can be up to 10 days past the window and you will still qualify for free dining for the entire stay.

For example, you arrive 9/8/2020 and checkout 9/18/2020 and you'll have free dining for the entire stay.

If your arrival is a couple of days before the time frame, you can do a split stay as follows. Say for example you want to arrive 8/27/2020

8/27-8/28 Book a ROOM-ONLY stay
8/28-9/2 Book Free Dining

Although you won't have dining during the first stay, you can request the Theme Park Tickets from your free dining reservation in person at Guest Services on 8/27.

You must arrive on a date listed, but the deal will remain throughout your stay.

Sometime in 2021. The thought is it will last about 18 months from there

We are going in 2 weeks and I didn't avail of the dining plan because they are darn too expensive. This must be a good deal but then I read you wont get discounted hotel stay plus tickets and you need to buy the park hopper tickets. Those are expensive too so it might come out the same getting this free dining plan or getting a discounted package. But I'd rather go when the parks are not overcrowded.

Just for reference I got 8 nights, 6 days one park tickets for 4 plus memory maker for $3200.

Please be sure to do the math rather than assume this is a deal (like free dining was 10-15 yrs ago).

Keep in mind that it will be hot as balls for the dates in the deal. I'm not sure who in their right mind would go to central Florida in July!?!

IMO you could usually get rates lower room rates & ticket prices than when they offer these "free" meal deals. I would review what you think you will pay on meals vs the discount you would get from undercovertourist and other places on ticket prices

I assumed so, but do you know specifically when in 2021? Summer time? Spring time?
