I guess I'll go against the sentiment and say I enjoy the CWs I have. They are fairly new so lack heritage of brands like 'Hamilton', but they aren't part of the Swatch Group so their limited heritage at least means something still, unlike Hamilton. This design feels different than most divers I see currently being produced, which makes sense since it is a vintage design.

I'm not sure who is producing divers around this price point now that doesn't feel influenced by Rolex/Omega, since even Seiko is a mix of unique and heavily influenced. I'm still not a fan of their new logo, and I only do Automatic & Quartz though so not too interested in these.

You might get a better deal on their UK site due to the low conversion rates

Most of the 50% off prices apply to their Quartz watches, but the C5 Malvern 595 has the Peseux 7001 hand-wind only mechanical movement. This is a great dress watch for the $340 USD price they've got today. Very slim watch that looks good without being flashy.

Thanks OP always wanted a bronze, either a Trident Bronze or an Oris bronze. A little small but $455 seals the deal.

Watches have some ok designs since they do homages all day. I hate the logo.

Edit: I'd also rather go for Hamilton, Seiko, Citizen or Tissot for more original designs with far more heritage. Chris ward started in 2004 and survived by selling homages to reddit neckbeards who bought into the brand because they did a reddit AMA. Laughable.

Same here. Almost all their lineup is based off Tag/Rolex watches. Complete knock off in terms of design.

I'd rather spend $300 on a Seiko diver anyday. At that price range, I'd recommend Tissot/Hamilton any day and everyday. Better heritage, original designs and swiss movements and better resale value in the used market.

Totally agree.. hard to beat the value proposition of Seiko. Plus you're getting something with history and full built in house.. VS CW which is just dime a dozen micro brand.
