FYI - cloud dependent cameras.

note: I recommend avoiding zmodo / funlux / meshare products. They're basically the yugo of cameras...

fwiw I've used Zmodo and Blink. Zmodo isn't the fanciest camera, but their app is simple and easy to use. The free cloud service gives you limited motion/clip saves, but you can sign-up for cloud service if you want more.

I too have many zmodo cameras. They are easy and inexpensive. It has free clips on motion detection for free with 36hr time frame. If you want always recording then you do pay for the subscription

I agree (zmodo/ funlux /meshare/EPTCO) should be avoided coming from a prevous employee. Part of the company has filed bankruptcy already(court case id: 2:19-bk-90927). Manufacturing of the products has basically come to a hault and everything seems to be old stock or refurbs (at least when I left). The software is programmed horribly and not even tested just dumped onto customers.
