DoorDash *used to keep tips, now all of the tips are passed on to the driver. They still "hide" the very large tips sometimes but 100% of the tips go to the drivers. This changed Summer 2019.

But - Per their website (when you check out) - 100% of the tip goes to your Dasher.

Zero delivery fees from your favorite restaurants
Save an average of $4 - $5 per order
Look for the checkmark to find 922 eligible restaurants (Sapphire preferred may see less eligible restaurants)
Enjoy zero delivery fees and reduced service fees on orders over $12.
CHASE SAPPHIRE RESERVE®
CARDMEMBERS GET:

Free DashPass for up to 2 years, immediately upon activation. Normally $9.99/month.

if someones chase sapphire reserve card doesnt work its because of an issue in chase's systems and it should start working on or after 1/12 ( i called and checked ), so i guess i will wait and add my card after 5 days and see whats up.

I tried this on the app and it didn't work. But it works when I do it through the website. On the website, I removed my credit card and readd it. A pop up box with the promo shows up.

Is the $60 annual door dash credit true?

Staring today you can enroll in a complimentary DoorDash DashPass Membership through 12/31/21. That's a value of $9.99/month.

Starting on 1/12, you will get a $60 annual Doordash statement credit that will refund your first $60 in Doordash spending. You have until 12/31/20 to finish the $60 of spending credit and you'll get another $60 of spending credit in 2021.

Starting on 1/12, you can enroll in a complimentary Lyft Pink membership, a value of $19.99/month. With that membership you'll save 15% off all Lyft rides, get priority airport pickup, get waived cancellation fees 3 times per month when you rebook a ride within 15 minutes, get waived lost and found fees, and enjoy 3 free bike or scooter rides per month.

Starting on 1/12/20, you'll earn 10 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar on Lyft ride spending through 3/31/22! That will stack on top of earning Hilton points and Delta miles on Lyft.

Welcome to the new world. Every business is under threat from cyber criminals. If you want to be safe, just put all your money under a mattress and pay in cash at every store you visit.
Yes but then the matress will steal your info and sell it to the other matresses

Super weird, it is able to detect my Freedom card properly for the free three months but not the reserve card. Looks like I'll have to call again because today I was put on hold for 2 hours after the first person and had to just end the call because I assumed they probably closed anyways.

Probably not, my girlfriend works as an accounting consultant for Chase and she asked her counterpart offhand, "are they bring back 100k?" They said it's a hard no because they didn't expect so many people would sign up for CSP w/ 100k bonus and are still trying to make up the money.

This is anecdotal obviously, but do what you will with that information. My girlfriend and I got CSP last month.

No deal on my Reserve. 3 free months on both Freedom and Freedom Unlimited though. Boo, looks like I'm sticking with Grubhub.
May want to check prices of grubhub with those of restaurant. It could be location specific but when I've checked it, the menu prices have been about $3 to $7 higher than in the actual restaurants. This hasn't been the case for me for doordash but I just read other comments saying doordash does same thing so ymmv.

Do I need to tip? It seems the bill including tip?
You can do it either way. Can tip in person or in the app. I go ahead and tip on the app - really don't like to, though. My thinking is that if I don't tip on the app then dasher may not think I'm going to tip and they have my food that they can do not nice things to.

Hi all,

I read through some of the posts, but don't see my answer. I was wondering if I decided to cancel my sapphire card by the end of this year, will the DoorDash still remain free for another year? I should still have a year of DoorDash if I decide to keep the sapphire card. Anyone with experience please chime in. TIA

Absolutely zero Doordash delivery options in 29690 -- hoping CSR will issue a credit in lieu of the price increase...

I'm not sure how that would be possible but could be wrong. It looks like you have to have your CSR or CSP as the default payment option. If the card isn't charged likely no way to get the charge refunded on your monthly statement...
