Found this at my local home depot last night. Marked down 50%. Please be kind. First post.

YMMV

if someone can brick seek a link that would be great. No clue how to do that.

The new EGO POWER+ Backpack Blower delivers the power and performance of gas without the noise, fuss and fumes. Featuring a jet-engine inspired turbine fan, high-efficiency brushless motor and EGO's ARC Lithium battery technology, this blower produces an industry-best 600 CFM of power (on turbo) with a run time of up to two hours (on low speed). With a handle mounted, variable-speed control, users can adjust speeds on the go: powering up to move large debris or powering down for the flower beds. At just 64 dB, the EGO POWER+ Backpack Blower is 8 times quieter than popular gas models, so it's ideal for noise-sensitive properties and cities with leaf-blower noise restrictions. Robust tool construction and materials makes this blower ideal for everyday use in demanding conditions. The EGO POWER+ Backpack Blower Kit includes a 5.0 Ah battery and 56V charger. All EGO tools, batteries and chargers are 100% compatible so owners can build the combinations they need and maximize their value. Experience Power Beyond Belief with the EGO POWER+ Backpack Blower and the entire EGO POWER+ lineup.
Hi-efficiency brushless motor with variable speed to blow air from 320 CFM (gentle) to 600 CFM (turbo) for all situations
8 times quieter than gas-powered backpack blowers; just 64 dB
Powerful 5.0 Ah Arc-Lithium battery is compatible with all EGO POWER + products
Adjustable harness with waist belt for comfort during both long and short work sessions
145 MPH
5-year warranty

My store was $225. So, I bought a $20 off $200 coupon online for a few bucks to make it $205. Not as good as the people who are lucky enough to find $150 but I'll take what I can get.

If these are available locally for $150, wondering what I could reasonably get out of them. Maybe start at $250 and settle at $225 ish...?

Brickseek says a store 5mi from me has 4 and this is on 'clearance'. Does that mean it's $150, or do I have to go into the store to see?
Brickseek showed same for me. Went to store and it is marked for 149. Also, they have the mower with 5Ah for 249, anyone think that is a good deal?

Had 2 stores in my area that had them. First one was "clearanced" at $259. Second store was supposed to have 4 but they were nowhere to be found.

Just want to say the blower itself is just OK but nothing special. I use the turbo mode button 90% of the time and only get 11 to 12 minutes out of it with a 7.5ah battery (I believe this deal only has a 5ah).

I highly recommend the gas ryobi over this any day if you're looking for slightly better power and much longer run time.

This is great for resale though, if you're going that route.
I don't have this model but I have 2 of the 580 model with 2.5ah batteries. Running on turbo I average a little over 10 minutes. I'd never go back to gas yard tools after using Ego. I have 2 trimmers, 2 blowers, powerhead edger and 16" chainsaw. I haven't got a chance to use the chainsaw since I got it thanks to SD at the end of November.

Got the 7.5 version from a store in Houston this afternoon. 1 of the boxes had the $195 clearance sticker on a box, but it rang up for $399. Dude told me the clearance sticker was for the 5.6 version, so I asked him to honor the price & he did.

Are you sure you didn't swap stickers 😉😉, but you sure gave the SD community an idea😊

Silverdale, WA has 9 left on the floor as of 7pm Tuesday night. Enter and then all the way to the right before the garden entrance. $149.00.

Not trying to thread-crap but I have a question...

Why would someone get a battery powered backpack blower instead of a gas backpack blower?

It seems the purpose of the backpack is to make it easier to handle for an extended period of time but the battery ones only last 15-20 min max.

Just trying to understand the logic. (And get information since I'm in the market for a backpack blower after using my electric one on my new yard that's .6 acres)

easier start and smaller yard or not many leaves so don't need to run it as long. I don't know if electric are quieter.
It takes me a couple of hours and at least one refueling to collect the leaves on just our front lawn using a Stihl backpack blower. Electric blower would take too long.
Its the same with any other lawn equipment. Some folks can use electric snow blowers. In our region one needs dual stage gas powered snow blowers.
