144Hz refresh rate: Get smooth gaming, sharper objects, and cleaner details with a gaming display that refreshes frames 144 times a second – over twice the refresh rate of standard displays.
1ms response time with overdrive: Eliminates motion blur for crisp, fluid gameplay no matter what's happening on-screen.
AMD FreeSync™ technology: See and feel the difference of fluid, responsive gameplay. By synchronizing the refresh rate with your GPU, AMD FreeSync™ makes display stutter, input lag, and screen tears ancient history.
Micro-edge display: With virtually no bezel encircling the display, an ultra-wide viewing experience provides for seamless multi-monitor set-ups.
Full HD display / 1080p display: Brilliant visuals and unforgettable quality from a stunning FHD display.
Height adjustment stand: Easily adjust your display to the most comfortable position with 100 mm range of travel.
TN panel: Low pixel latency and snappy response times with this TN panel.
Ambient lighting: Diffused lighting to reduce eye fatigue during late-night gaming sessions.
Low blue light: Using the Low Blue Light mode subtly shifts your display's colors to a warmer spectrum, while making whites more natural and putting less strain on your eyes.

Why does everyone say this? TN panels are much faster than IPS panels. If it's 1ms it's going to be TN. Get over it and don't comment. Kthx

Is this a good monitor to use for vertical? Ideally to just have browser open while gaming

I wouldnt get this. At first glance didn't seem like an amazing price. In your case specifically you don't need 144hz. For web browsing id be looking super basic.

NOPE, this is only good for gaming. TN sucks for browsing or normal use. Just get any ips monitor that can go vertical unless you already got your own mount. Should be able to get a pretty nice one for under $100 easily.

I have a ips I got for browsing and work and a tn for gaming and would agree. TN because of viewing angles is annoying to most. I havent had any issues switching tabs over and working on it though.
For my ips is vertical mounting it easier to do work on ? Never thought of doing that.

I had chance to get the MSI that was 1ms with 165hz deal they had during black Friday but passed due to some reviews saying the screen was to big for 1080p and it was curved I believe.

Is this a good monitor?

By the way lately I have been having issues on walmart with things posted here. It says having temporary system issues. Are these out of stock? It did the same thing to me when I tried to order the fire pit from them other day said same thing. My guess it sold out even thought website wasnt saying so yet

It's a good deal and a good monitor, IMO. This price deal has been going on since prior to Christmas though. I bought the 25x at Best Buy for my son and paid double the price + 3 year protection but have experienced no issues. He liked it so well for his gaming, I decided to get the same for his dual setup. Went with the 25mx at Walmart and thought I was getting a deal when I paid $200 (including tax) for it prior to Christmas. From my understanding, the only difference between the two is the green (x) vs blue (mx) lighting.
