Not exactly a deal but I like how we share info as a community. This title is selling out in stores and is limited. Thought I would give a heads up, grab a copy if you want, I did.

This looks like a decent game, but why is this a deal? It's MSRP, and digital is cheaper.

If you're buying as an investment, and believe it'll have collectible value, maybe this is an okay deal.

For the game itself, I'd just wait for a sale on the digital. $35 is a huge amount to spend on an Indie arcade game.

Digital copy is $5 cheaper. There's no way the digital version doesn't go on sale for much less at some point, even if the physical is hard to find.

This deal seems to be for collectors.

Not a collector per say but loved the box art so I snagged one anyway at a bb location 25 mins away. Going to be a chore but treasure seeking is part of the fun!

Been there for a month...? lol. Odd time to post this when it's almost sold out. And now that there's a multi-language physical copy, the collector's value for this went way down unless you have the foil art from LRG.

Grabbed this on release, December 13th for the same price. Great game in line with the older River City Ransom game storyline done by WayForward. It's nice to see Best Buy and Limited Run Games pair up for putting out this and Turok 1 and 2 for Switch with games that would otherwise only ever see a digital release.

I figured there might be others like me that didn't want to miss out.

It's a Limited Run Games title meaning this is likely a very limited supply and their partnership was only with Best Buy as far as retailers. LRG typically releases a set number of titles that would otherwise be digital only and releases them in small amounts. When this sells out it is likely not coming back unless they for some reason do a second run. I'm not the OP on this and don't consider it a "Hot Deal", but for collector's it's worth knowing about. I bought it on release Dec 13th of last year, and it was odd that it was available physically for just $5 over the eShop release. Still it's a fun game and I'm glad I picked it up. Having it physically I can play it long after the eShop isn't around and be able to lend it family/friends if I choose.

The box art is great, and like all Limited Run Games it includes a nice detailed artbook/manual inside the case as well.

Apparently the digital version has gone on sale to it's lowest price since release in September.

Does this have online Co-Op?
I don't think it does on consoles but on Steam it has the new feature called "Remote Play Together" where you can play it co-op online even if the game is couch co-op only.

Another reason I prefer the Steam version is the mods. This game has an annoying thing(on solo anyway) where to move to the next map its the most common attack button you use so its very common it accidentally go to the next map when attacking enemies near the edge of the map. You can't change this in settings, however the PC version with this mod you can.
