Didn't see this posted elsewhere. Bestbuy is currently offering the Moto Z3 Play for $99 when activated or $149 to activate later. This is the 32gig model and doesn't seem to come with any accessories.

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/moto...Id=6348108

Now back in stock on Motorola.com for $149 for 32gb model with 2 free style shells. They also have the 64gb model with a power pack or Alexa mod for $229 with 2 style shells. if you qualify they have free financing with 0 percent APR.

Without activation this is a better deal.

Better phone than Moto x4? Anyone know?
We replaced an X4 with one of these...

Pros for the Z3 Play:
- Extra 1GB of memory... this (along with a newer processor... even if it is a midrange) seems to make a bit of a difference in performance\
- Bigger screen
- Somewhat better camera in low light
- More future android updates

Pros for the X4:
- WATERPROOF!
- Better(?) positioning of fingerprint reader
- 2nd rear facing camera (wide angle)

- USB-C (once you leave microUSB, you won't want to go back... bi-directional plug is great)

- Better(?) positioning of fingerprint reader
- microUSB (you don't have to replace all your cables)
- 2nd rear facing camera (wide angle)
Are you sure? My X4 has USBC!

Is this a good price ($230) for 64gb Z3 Play and power pack?

I have used over 30 phones this year I don't get how anyone is happy with this budget phones. They are slow laggy and have a lack of ram. I settled on a s10 not because I wanted to pay a higher price. But because the other phones I used Moto z4 included were slow.

For Verzon, it's a hard pull and credit score will drop a few points. Credit score will go back up after a month or two if your credit score is good to begin with. Many people have done this many times with no long term negative impact on their credit scores. This of course does not apply if your credit score is not good such as unpaid bills, high credit utilization, etc.

For Sprint, you can do no credit check.

Good deal. Not too shabby hug
How to do no credit check with sprint?

This has 4GB of RAM which is sufficient. The X4 has only 3GB, and is constantly hitting against those limits.
agree. I went from x4 to z3 much better.

Also x4 is $125 trade in from staples. Not sure if anyone else is offering that.

I'm sorry... you're correct... we replaced a few phones at that time... it was an LG G4 that was microUSB.

I can see that if you're comparing a high end phone to something like the Motorola E series... but for 95% of the planet, the Moto Z range (or even the G range) is going to be perfectly fine.

This phone ain't laggy. I used the N10+ and 7 Pro prior to getting the z3P (64). It performs similarly to my S8 on LOS.
