Just a heads up if you install windows 10 with this board the WiFi will cause a BSOD and windows 10 will not fully install. It'll appear to install, reboot to finish setup and then BSOD.

The Intel WiFi is the cause of this. During setup where you select the partition to install windows on select "Load Driver" and download the WiFi driver from Asus' site and point the windows installer to install that driver and you'll be fine.

X570 has much better VRMs than 4 to handle the high-end 12/16-Core CPUs. If you want something cheaper you can always go with B450 or X470. Can't see what the complaint is when they've been offering compatibility with old chipsets for years.

Good board and though the discount isn't huge, there's at least free ship. I'm torn between the Wifi and Non-wifi version or being patient and waiting for an Ebay bucks deal. TU!

x570 boards are still so high. I always hear "AMD is such value" then when these were all around $250.. $125 with 8 Sata ports would make me bite.

Screw it - Ordered - After 5% off for using the AMZ Chase card, it brings it down to $166.24

I was close to buying a B450 / X470 board but:

1) The board i was considering either lacked wifi or was this same price (yet not a X570)
2) My Teamgroup 3600 ram is only on the QVL list for Asus boards (incl this one) and Gigabyte (most X570's have crap reviews)
3) Truly good reviews (Amz, Microcenter, Reddit, etc) on this board.

I just bought the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite w/ wifi for $209 a couple weeks ago. Still haven't put together my new build yet, wondering if I should get this board instead. Only issues I see is that the GPU will be blocking the chipset fan is the main complaint, but otherwise cooling seems good overall. Don't care it uses Realtek lan, since i'm using wifi anyways. I hear Asus bios updates are slow compared to Gigabyte though?

I looked into this yesterday. On this board, they've been putting out BIOS updates roughly every 30 days since July. I'm comfortable with that.

Comparison chart - be warned, takes 30-60 seconds to load.

Might be more useful for those that don't want to sit / skim through long YouTube reviews.

Thanks! That's good to know. I might have to return my Aorus and get this instead and save some cash, since the difference is minimal.

So I know the Tuf has a rear usb c port, while the aorus elite has front. My case is the NZXT H10i elite that has usb c port in the front. Does it matter which board I get in this sense? I'm assuming all the ports on the case just connects to the motherboard regardless to power it?

This is the best x570 MB for $250 or less price point. No front usb-c though.
