Amazon is currently offering the high-end Razer Blade 15 Advanced Gaming Laptop 2.6 GHz i7/16GB/512GB for $2,499.99 shipped. This is $300 under the previous price drop, and a new Amazon all-time low. Featuring a 15-inch 1080p 240Hz display, Razer's Blade has 16GB of RAM and an RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics card. You'll also find Wi-Fi 6 support, as well as Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, USB 3.1, and more.

EDIT: Razer's official website also as the discount (https://www.razer.com/gaming-lapt...opto-black). However, after having dealt with both Razer and Amazon's customer service, I would go with Amazon.

Both RAM and SSD are upgradable, but I believe there is only 1 SSD slot, unlike the 17" Razer laptops.

I think this one went for 2099 sometimes ago on microsoft store, I ordered one. But when it arrived, it needed to be plugged in to turn it on. When it was on, the laptop shows that it has full battery. But as soon as I unplug the charger, it turned off. Still confuse me what was wrong with quality control for these 3k laptop. Sucked to be me I guess, shoulda request for exchange instead of refund.

Tempting to go for an Amazon Warehouse Deals one for $300-400 less.
If you do this, check the units thoroughly. I have bought electronics and when I received them, I found out that parts were swabbed out with lesser units and returned. There was this one unit that I got that had really slow SSD, but same size. That was a huge price difference.

It would be hard to know with some of the other vendors, but I happened to buy a Thinkpad and they have list of sources their SSD comes from even if there are multiple sources. If I bought a less established units without a community support, I wouldn't have this list available. I have read people getting fake flashed drives too (where the unit is flashed to show one spec/brand, when it really is a fake unit). So I stopped buying used electronics that can have removable parts on the Warehouse side unless I know what to look for.
I have also received other items with items changed out, but those are pretty obvious.

Thanks for the watch-out - probably not worth it then. I now see why my original comment got so many downvotes!

For $2.5k, I would expect an i9, 32 GB RAM, & 1-2 TB SSD.

What's the Bluetooth version? Webcam resolution?

Razer has solid build quality compared to other laptops, that means you pay the Apple premium on them. I have a Razer blade 13 and love it.

Razer needs to get over themselves and stop selling these laptops for $3k. Yes, they're quality laptops, if you get lucky and get yours with good components, but I have had a couple of them and they usually needed some sort of service at some point. Their quality control is terrible. The previous ones always had some screen issues and terrible light bleeding. These need to be about $2k by now.

The description says USB 3.1 but I'm assuming they meant to say 3.2, or 3.1 gen 2? If it's 3.1 gen 1 then that is the same as 3.0 which is half the speed of 3.2 and not great
