I was at Staples buying LaCroix sparkling water and noticed that the Pure (blue box) flavor was on clearance for $.46
This was at a store in Rochester MN but it could be national

Large discounts on food items at Staples are usually not nation wide. Often they are pass the expiration dates. Check carefully before buying food items in stores.

Check carefully for what? The expiration date on sparkling water - and most other foods for that matter - has no health implications. Look into it. Sad statement on our culture that there are people who throw them out and buy more or are worried about consuming them. I thought this site was for the people who aren't suckers.

I have seen several pallets of soda that had corroded through aluminum cans. They were probably 3-5 years past expiration and stored in a cool,dy place.
Point being: The date is there for a reason. It is not a conspiracy to get you to buy more.

I have bought drinks in the past were the fizz is gone. I have bought grains and nut bars where they were bad. Just be careful with Staples. Some stores do not rotate inventory properly and that's why they are store specific sales. It seems they want to get rid of it without affecting their store metrics.
