If you used a Sony or a Bose, this is a downgrade. A bit surprised Sennheiser even put their name on it. Its that bad. Hence the clearance price. But the black one is still full price. Go figure. Waiting for a deal on a Sony.

I am having the Bose QC25 for a while. Got these and tried them during the bf day deals. It's definitely a downgrade and I wouldn't recommend these over the Bose ones atleast. The comfort is not so good. My ears felt like they are bring shrunk to fit in. Noice cancellation is good. Felt the bass is a little more which felt like noise after a certain volume level. Wasn't able to wear the while long time.

For me Bose is the winner in all aspects.

This is the same price of their BF deal and previous front page deal.
I am more interested in the how the noise canceling work in office environment. And the comments from previous threads are mixed. Some say it works really well, while others say it just OK or above OK.

I got these maybe 2 years ago, they are real good for the price, sure it's not Bose or Sony but the price is also not Bose or Sony. If you are looking for wireless noise canceling headphones for under 100 this is a great price for the product, use these all the time on planes and work well to block out the engine

I got these a couple months ago to try out. The noise cancellation is good, esp for the price. My problem was the description as over the ear. I had a pair of on ear beats that I never liked because I'm not a fan of stuff on my ears.

My ears aren't extremely big I don't believe, but they were squeezed into these cans. The pads were bigger than the Beats Solo for sure, but still my ears were squished into the holes in these.

I got the Sony xm3s and they are amazingly better. (At a much higher cost, but worth it for me)

That said, these are well worth the price for entry level nc headphones. If I hadn't had the beats to give to my 19 year old, I'd have definitely given him these and he would have been happy.

Bose is better but - in terms of performance-to-cost ratio - neither is great. In terms of value, I'd go with Sony or JBL. Part of that rec comes from the fact that - in my opinion - Sennheiser's ANC is tuned poorly.

I agree wholeheartedly with this guy. I would have kept the headphones but couldn't because the headphones were very uncomfortable. They are definitely not over the ears. They are ON ears. Very misleading. I also don't have big ears. I say I have average ears size ears. Something to consider if you're purchasing this.

I bought these last month, I returned them the next day. It was too tight on the head, and I have a small head.

This was on the frontpage in november for the same price. I bit the bullet then. Used it for almost a month and returned it. They are not at all comfortable. The ear pads are so small that you cannot wear them for more than an hour. Mic never worked for phone calls. Super choppy. Bought a sony whb900 for 20 bucks more. Totally worth it considering you get comfort, better bass, app to control settings and superior controls. Would not buy these unless they are <$50.

Also got this around black friday. Currently use it about 6 hours per day at work and working out at a gym. I have mixed feelings about it, as it was extremely uncomfortable at first, painful after even 30 minutes. It's finally started to break in and can be worn for long periods without discomfort.

At the gym, it stays on for most things including running. Things where u bob your head forward like situps can be a little more tricky, but if you position it at the correct angle it will stay in place.

I can't comment much on the quality of the noise cancelling, as this is my 1st pair with ANC, but it mostly gets the job done. It seems to be better at blocking loud machinery noises than high pitched noises like voices and singing.

Sound quality is good for music and podcasts, but it's not good for phone calls.

Overall, I would say it's definitely worth the money if you can get past the uncomfortable phase and break it in. If it's anything like other sennheisers, it should last forever, aside from battery life perhaps.

It's funny how much hate Bose gets for it's speakers, yet for their headphones, They get nothing but love.

Love for the ANC, but no love for the audio quality. It's pretty much a given.
