Then dont give your opinion. It has no value. If anything you are hurting peoples wallets.
Don't get butthurt just because I called you out for presenting your opinion as fact in order to farm Karma. I presented my opinion as an opinion.

It's a subtle but crucial distinction and one people not butthurt will appreciate in making purchasing decisions.

"Sure Its not a Sony or a Bose"

No its not

its a Sennheiser !

Sennheiser is expected to be better or just as good (with products in same price range)

I could understand if one made reference to the likes of JBL but we are talking about a leader in this industry not a follower

btw i too own a pair and the noise cancelling is not bad (at best) but everything else leaves a lot to be desired including comfort/build (plastic trim is cheap)

dont get me started on the app

pro is battery life is decent

cons almost everything else (imo)

These things launched around 300 bucks lol supposed to be a premium product but its hard to recommend even at a fraction of that price.

You don't even mention the sound quality which is probably the most important quality for a lot of people which is excellent. As for the comfort, that is subjective, and the build itself meh. I beat it for over a year and it works fine still. It is plasticy but that also makes it very light.

And again you are comparing it to the $350 Noise cancelling headphones from Sony/Bose. The street price for this thing has normally been around $150. It launched at $200 but the street price has been around $150 for a while. So apples to oranges comparison.

The closest competitor is probably Sony's old XB950N1 and now the Sony WH-XB900N1. The Sennheiser's are better in every way than those even at the old pricepoint of about $150.

Plasticy build is also subjective. The Sony's have "better" build with a metal headband but is designed to fail eventually because of the weak hinge above the ear cups. And the Xm3's and QC35's are pretty plasticy too ... And Sony/Bose apps are terrible too not that anybody gives a crap about apps anyways for headphones

I mean, you'd have some credibility if you could at least mention the sound quality which is the best feature of this thing; but you're just discussing things most people don't care about and made a huge generalization.

Congratulations on getting so many upvotes on a post that literally contributed nothing to the conversation, but you really didn't deserve them.

Think you are getting confused between momentum 3. This were released for 199 and we're always available around 150. There is no Bose offering in this price range and the Sony's only have better comfort with other issues.

Sound quality is in the cons

What are you talking about "upvotes"
I have 1 upvote

"Congratulations on getting so many upvotes on a post that literally contributed nothing to the conversation, but you really didn't deserve them."

what on earth are you going on about?

"dont deserve them" who the hell are you to say?

sound quality is excellent compared to what??
what other headphones do you own and please rank them (these included)
are you telling me these are comfy great sounding cans? please compare to another set you own
"plastic makes them light" are you trolling? If i cant tell i guess that would mean youre doing a good job if so.

They weigh more (or just as much) than the 599 and HD 650 its pretty negligible either way you definitely know they are they you can feel them thats for sure especially if wearing more than an hour
The *Truth is: they are made of plastic so they could expand room for profits they cut build quality corners
Doesnt matter people can try for themselves return if they dont like'you over here acting like you got money invested in the brand

the top rated comment is 100 percent accurate

btw
why do you choose to come at me like this? acting as if insulted you or something
is it your ego thats getting hurt? bought these so feel compelled to protect ego? i dont understand
i dont understand why people defend products as if they were living breathing things with feelings
Its like people forgot what its like to talk face to face spend so much time on internet they just lose their humanity
then you got those who talk out their arse ect just because they can.
say they own stuff when you know deep down inside they dont have a pot to pee in Smilie

just wished we got along better stuck together more
companies would have to adapt = quality of life skyrockets

If you used a Sony or a Bose, this is a downgrade. A bit surprised Sennheiser even put their name on it. Its that bad. Hence the clearance price. But the black one is still full price. Go figure. Waiting for a deal on a Sony.

Thanks mate, but refub is a no go. This is most likely a grey product.

I just exchanged a pair of Sony CH700N's for these at BB. I can wear them for a few hours with no problem. They do have more clamping force, but have broken in with time. Build quality wise I think the plastic is better put together than the 700Ns. The noise cancelling to me is far better on the Senn's, and I enjoy the sound profile more than the Sonys. The controls on the 700N's I thought were better thought out and the app was far superior. As far as I know Sennehiser has no app support for these headsets at this time. The 700Ns also support more codecs than the Senns as well and use BT 4.1 compared to the Senns 4.0. For $80 I think the Senns are a great buy and I would recommend them.

I am having the Bose QC25 for a while. Got these and tried them during the bf day deals. It's definitely a downgrade and I wouldn't recommend these over the Bose ones atleast. The comfort is not so good. My ears felt like they are bring shrunk to fit in. Noice cancellation is good. Felt the bass is a little more which felt like noise after a certain volume level. Wasn't able to wear the while long time.

For me Bose is the winner in all aspects.
Just curious, have you tried any non NC headphones sounding better then QC25 under $300? I have qc15 and 25, but not flying anymore.

ANC on these was decent for the price, but they were incredibly uncomfortable. I sent them back immediately. Big Sennheiser fan but these were a fail.

I purchased a pair of these on the last sale and used the first time shopper discount, making them only $64. I am very happy with them at that price. I can't compare them to any other brands, being they are my first decent set of headphones.

My head is about 23" around and my ears are medium sized. I don't find these uncomfortable for extended use if placed properly over the ears. I doubt it's possible for larger ears. The ears can get a little warm, depending on the ambient temp. Taking them off for a minute relieves any discomfort. The headband hasn't bothered me at all, even after wearing them for hours. The build quality seems solid enough but only time will tell. The sound quality, ANC and battery life seem to be good but I have nothing with which to compare.

There is the option of getting larger ear pads but I haven't found it necessary.

I purchased these and so far so good they seem to be better quality than my previous Bluetooth headphones. Reviews are pretty good for this product with the exception of those people who complain about a fitment issue which I am not experiencing, apparently I have small enough ears for these headphones to fit on me properly and comfortably. Sound is good with no altered sound to generate more bass than the music originated. Def a keeper
