got this watch for 99.00 around Black Friday. Its a great watch, very accurate however, the screen is not vibrant at all. It is faded and kind of washed out looking unless you are outside, it is made to be viewed in the outdoors and is VERY visible in direct sunlight.

Yeah I picked it up on the same deal. Excellent GPS and battery life. The touch screen kinda sucks, but honestly I think overall I'm liking it more than the WearOS watches I've tried. Like a cross between an Amazfit Bip and full featured smartwatch.

Most Garmin 2/3 series would be on sale now because they aren't getting new features like Body Battery etc. If you care about it, you may want to wait for a deal on Vivoactive 4/4s or Fenix 6 and Forerunner 245/945 etc.

It also look like this sale has been the price more often than not since black Friday.

It looks like a solid option, and I could just return it if the heart rate monitoring monitoring sucks. I really hate my experience with Garmin's devices, but apparently they are still the best.

As has been the case with every wrist heart rate monitoring...
It is very accurate when NOT working out and then it's hit or miss. This Garmin will work with a chest strap though which is VERY accurate. Having said this, Garmin, even on the wrist while working out, is going to be one of the most accurate out there.
As long as the screen doesnt bother you(it bothers me, but it has other great features) then it's a great watch.

I just bought the Vivomusic 3 (I think that's the name) and have been wearing it for the last few days. I agree on the screen -- it looks like a no-name MP3 player screen or something, pre-OLED times. I talked with someone who has used one before, and he said that it's well suited for fitness but not so much for "smartwatch" functions like Apple.

I'm still on the fence whether or not I'm going to keep it, but for $115 (like this one), it's not bad at all.
