Is this a quality toothpaste? I saw a comment in an earlier thread talking about quality and I didn't realize there was much difference. Can someone help explain what makes a toothpaste good or bad and whether this one is good? Thanks.

Toothpaste for the most part only serves as a lubricant while you brush to remove particles from your teeth. The ingredients or the claims of whitening etc does near to nothing in improving the efficiency of it doing the main job of a toothpaste. So nearly every toothpaste is a good one. Fluoride's efficiency has been debated.

The second part is the flavor, color, active ingredients for things such as whitening. It's personal preference and do not expect a lot happening through them.

To maintain a healthy teeth and gum, toothpaste alone does not work out.

This toothpaste is the best when it comes to cavity prevention, its also less irritating to people with sensitive teeth and skin. .Smilie

Toothpaste is literally free at drug stores (CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid) almost weekly. I pick up the deals and give them to shelters. Buying local also keeps tax dollars in my community instead of making Bezos a trillionaire.
There are no deals at drugstores this week, and I printed the $1.00 off coupons for the Colgate Total in which all beeped as invalid at all the drugstores even though I was only using 1 coupon. They also expire this Saturday so that was a waste of ink.
