I'm searching for it too, I guess hemp protein might be the only thing I've seen so far...
Thanks and let me know what you find. I been using this protein for a couple years and usually only do 1 scoop a day for the chocolate. I really like it and would like something with lower sodium if possible. It appears from my search sodium is unavoidable in protein powder plant based or regular

I think the issue is that pea protein uses sodium for its protein extraction method. I could be wrong about that, but this would be the reason why basically anything that is pea protein is so high in sodium. Hemp and rice protein have less (almost none) sodium. The issue with rice is that it can accumulate certain heavy metals from soil, so testing is important. It's also very chalky tasting. Hemp tastes grainy and not too great, but it might be the lowest sodium option at the moment for plant based proteins.

Thanks for the information! I will look at hemp. Taste and texture are irrelevant to me. I can drink anything as long as it has the vitamins and minerals needed.

Hate the chocolate version of this product cause of the very powerful after taste. Wonder if all there products have the same grainy texture/weird after taste. Also it was not just one bad batch tried it again at a later date and same taste.

how does peanut butter taste compared to chocolate? Also shows as $24.
PB is very sweet, in general this product line is pretty sweet, I've tried all but the choc. Garden of Life carries a lightly sweeten flavor and not only does it taste great, but doesn't overpower any type of smoothie or fruit you may add to your drinks. Best meal replacement I've used to date.

I typically use Isagenix for my shakes. I've only tried the vanilla but found it very grainy if you care about texture. I was not a fan.

I wish we had more low sodium products out there. Almost everything has a ton of sodium, especially frozen foods. I was at Trader Joe's the other day grabbing my usual frozen Japanese fried rice and frozen asparagus risotto and looked at the sodium content...and put them all back. Even salsa is crazy high given that they calculate a serving as like like 2 Tbsp, and I can easily eat 1/3 to 1/2 a container in a sitting.

FYI, chocolate flavor is 290mg (13% RDA). I just looked at my 2.74 lb container from Costco.

Any recommendations on plant based low sodium?
I use naked pea protein powder. Just add your own sweetener to it. Only 110 mg of sodium per 30 g serving.

I get it cheaper in Costco, when it's on sale. And I think it's 6 lbs
