Pretty good price. I think many of the tvs dropped in price in anticipation of super bowl.

This is also 1999 at best buy.

I missed out on the christmas deal so glad they have it again.

Fyi I know greentoe is not a deal, but I was able to get the tv for 1900 from a reputable distributor without tax or shipping.

Have a burning desire to see this TV and upgrade from my 3 year old 65" LG LED (IPS panel in wide room). Having experienced the contrast and blacks from my friends recent OLED purchase I'm hesitant to deal with 'grey/blacks'. My eyes adjust after a day or so not watching the OLED...but there is still a significant difference.

Of course there is the problem of burn in on the OLED since our TV stays on like 8 - 12 hours each day. So ...not sure OLED is worth the risk no matter how small the probability.

'first world' dilemma...

This site has made me spend so much of my money on slickdeals - it's ridiculous.
I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed with this set. This is as good as it gets in picture quality before OLED, and is better than OLED in some aspect. You can leave this set on 24 hours a day and never have to worry about it. It is genuinely a beautiful TV

Both amazing sets. Those extra 10 inches make a huge difference though. How far is your seating distance? Is it a dark room or light room?

That's my dilemma even after bringing the c9 home, I sit about 9ft away and honestly the oled picture quality is amazing! But a 75in would be sweet. Coming from a 82in to a 65in is an adjustment for sure

That's not just 10 inches, that's 1/3 more view port

I have a 65" C7 and got this tv since my living room is bigger now after we move. Now I have the C7 in my bedroom. The oled picture is better IMO compared to the x950G but the size certainly makes up for it. A jump to a 77" oled is just crazy in price. This x950G is a solid tv

All this talk of the 75" 950g being worse than the 900f or 900e is nonsense. I have all three (75x950g, 75x900f, and 55x900e) and I can tell you without out a doubt that the 950g is the best.

Sites like rtings will lead you to believe that the 75" version has worse contrast ratio due to the Wide Angle Filter, maybe it does on the spec sheet but I can assure you can not tell the difference (rtings didn't even review the 75" so I have no ideas why they even say that).

The 950g is brighter, sharper, faster, and has MUCH better HDR and Dolby vision than the 900f. The X Wide angle feature IMO is the best part of the whole thing. No matter where you sit in the room, you get that same amazing experience.

All of these people on this thread claiming the 950g is worse than the 900f are completely wrong and most likely don't own both (or either) and are parroting sites like rtings who have never reviewed the 75" model. Rting's is great for spec sheet info and objective tests but their "reviews" and scoring system is complete nonsense.

IMO, at 75" the absolute best choice is the 950g. I actually prefer my 55x900e over my 75x900f. The 900f in 75" just doesn't perform as well as I had hoped.
What about at 85"?
