This is one of my favorite Audible deals, and doesn't seem to come up that often.

https://www.audible.com/ep/lto?so...0108209RKP

Offer available from January 13, 2020 at 12:00AM PT to January 31, 2020 at 11:59AM PT. This offer is not available to existing Audible members or customers who have been paid Audible members in the past 30 days. Offer applies only to an Audible annual membership sold by Audible.com. For the first year of your Audible membership, you will be charged the discounted price of $99.50

To be clear, you get 12 credits all at once, and they persist at least for a year (I think you can bank more than 12 but can't remember with this deal).

Note to existing subscribers, hotdogwater indicated that he was able to cancel and then resubscribe with this offer.

Looks like $119.50 for the first year is regular price on this. After the first year it's $149.50.

For those that have cancelled current plan and signed up for this one, are you still eligible for the $20 promo for finishing 3 books?

Yeah? Except Audible has been around for years. What's your point?

Was at the end of the 3 months for like $20 they had back in November, so used up my last credit and canceled, and worked fine to start again. There is no requirement to be not on a paid membership in the last 30 days it seems.

I have the one year membership from last year. I checked my account details/status and had the option to renew it at the $99.50 rate without cancellation and renewal. My account was originally scheduled to be up in April but I have already used all 12 credits. Decided to re-up with the 10% off chase promotion.
At what point does it show the price? I had the annual deal from last year as well. I see the "Renew Membership" button on my membership page. But I don't want to start clicking and accidentally get charged $149. Will it take me to a confirmation page before charging?

I recommend you contact their chat support.

I just renewed my yearly at $99 last week.

I was confused by the price, it said "Special Promotion: $99.50 a year, $149.50 a year thereafter." I asked their support via chat what would happen if I Renew Membership, what rate would I be charged? The Audible support agent pushed through a $99.50 renewal for me.

No, it cannot -- that deal requires a membership beginning December 31st.

It's vaguely possible, although outside of the terms of this promo, that you might be able to do that thing where you start canceling your account and receive this $99 offer as an incentive to continue. THAT might be within the terms of the $20, although I honestly don't know and would hesitate to bet on it. (And honestly, I forget all of the details of how that cancel process goes -- I started myself and then chickened out, since I have 3 months of my yearly sub remaining and that $20 at stake.)

I ended up just doing what everyone else is doing in case they disallow it lol.
The status page still shows i only need to finish one more book. Though i did read this could take up to 48 hours to update (seems to be way faster than that)

I just chatted with a rep and she said I'll still be eligible for the $20 promo if I go ahead with canceling/re-enrolling. I also have four credits still remaining from last year's annual plan, but she said she would add those credits back to my account after the re-enroll.

Thank you for checking -- I should have mentioned that talking to support is a GREAT way to get the deals, they don't always have the ability but if they say they can do it, they can.

I was able to change my existing account to take advantage of this promo over chat. I still had 3 credits and didn't lose any of them--I now have 15. So hopefully my $20 promo hasn't been jeoparized.

Thanks OP
