One World Alliance and Star Alliance member airlines such as Iberia, Swiss, Finnair, United and American via Skyscanner have round trip airfares travelling from Chicago (ORD) to Paris, France (CDG) for $278-$288, making 1 stop each way. I do see there's an outbound nonstop flight on United on select dates. These are also basic economy fares.

Travel Availability:
Departs ORD: Aug 18; Sept 7-9, 14-16, 21-23, 29-30; Oct 6-7, 12-14
Returns: great availability returns Monday-Friday

Haven't checked the airlines available, but was wondering if I can use my Citi Advantage card to get a free checked bag if I book this economy light fare? This is assuming that AA is an available carrier.

Yeah I don't think you really want to go to Paris right now. Might want to think that one through some more.

Ugh I really need one out of DC. Havent been back home in over 15 yrs. I am a noob to this side of SD. Any thought on the best way to find flight deals? I am trying to go with my aunt at the end of august and sort out some family stuff there. I was thinking of getting a new CC with a big airline points bonus. Any helpful tips would be really appreaciated. Thanks!

Cheapest I could find for DC to Paris nonstop is $567 in February: https://flights.app.urlhasbeenblocked/XDvvX Google Flights is a very powerful tool for deal hunting.
