Any headlight restorer without clear coating solution (the one that hardens and protects against UV Ray's) is pretty much useless unless for stripping old oxidized layers but that can be also achieved with 2-5K sandpaper. If nothing protects the exposed plastic after stripping left overs of old UV coating (all plastic lenses come with one) the lens will revert to even worse condition within a month or two depending on weather elements.
This might help with polishing windshields though.

But really anything, including straight up alcohol and distilled water will clean a windshield, with much less work, and less money. Am I missing something here? This product does not polish a window, just cleans it, when there are thousands of products that do that. Why would one buy it?
