If you are eligible for the military, veteran or first responder discount and you want a more robust setup than the 5 piece, you can do better directly through ring. For instance, if I bought the rakuten deal at $105 and then went to ring and added the pieces to make it equivalent to 10 piece (with military discount at ring), it would still cost more than buying the 10 piece at ring with military discount. All depends on what you want. Great deal on 5 piece if you never want to expand though.

Been waiting on a deal on the keypad, but it's $49.99. For another $50 is a pretty good deal to get extra motion, extender and contact sensor. Then backup base, too.

I'm moving to a townhouse with a two entrances. Would this system be enough? Can the doorbell be added later? I'm new to all of this.

Yes can add as necessary... and would more than likely need more pieces. Every home is different and depends what you are looking for.

Thank you! So it'd be a good starter kit?

Please put +tax in the title. Tax came to $9.xx for me, which basically negated the code.

To start, yes. You might need another contact sensor for the other door and another keypad as well if you go in and out both doors. The latter is not necessary as you can do it from your phone.
