What as of recently do you have to support this opinion? The last commercial aviation incident with a potential of being a major disaster was a Southwest plane. You don't think that an airline, or even Southwest or Boeing, being casted in a public light would make improvements to safety?

I agree with you completely. However, the focus of the damaging 60 Minutes Expose' was that the company was more focused on dollars rather than safety. Granted that is what capitalism is all about, but with a service like aviation you have to blend safety along with the bottom line, and unfortunately, they did not seem to have exercised that behavior in the past. All low cost carriers (Frontier and Spirit too) have great gaps in their ability to provide all things to all folks. Allegiant seemed to have some catching up to do.
