They don't have the equivalent of a family library, right? I made the switch to Google Play for audiobooks. I wish they had a movies anywhere for audiobooks!
You can share with one other adult in your household by linking your Amazon accounts.

My kids have access to any books I grant them also. I think up to 4 kids and 2 adults have share titles.

Audiobooks I don't already own that I'll be purchasing as part of this deal...

- The Dictator's Handbook: Why Bad Behavior Is Almost Always Good Politics

- Billion Dollar Whale

- Man's Search for Meaning

- Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World
Dictator's handbook is pretty good and the audiobook is great. There is a CGP Grey youtube video that summarizes some of it too if you like that sort of thing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rStL7niR7gs

Here are some recommendations. My tastes are probably totally different from yours.

Name of the Wind - I don't normally care for fantasy but I got this in a previous sale and loved it. The first hour or so I was questioning the decision but once the story started to form it got very interesting. Its Harry Potter for grownups and the world seems much more believable than most fantasy books. This is part of 3 part series (the third book is not yet out). This is also an offshoot book.

The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hill - Again, picked up on sale. If you have kids or have ever been a kid, this is a great read. It about a guy recalling his childhood.

The Others - If you liked the X-Files TV show, you will love this. It just a fun ride.

Infinite - Just read the book description. Anything else someone could say might ruin it.

Children of Time - Another one I can't really explain without ruining. Takes place over numerous generations and you can see the advancement with each generation. It was very interesting. It has a sequel that lost some of the magic of this one. This is a complete story though, no need to read the second one.
I wasn't able to find "The Others". Any help? Thanks.

Nevermind. I finally found it. Not sure why the search would find it for me...

"The Life We Bury" was excellent. Highly recommended.

Also, "The Force" by Don Winslow was great too, Ray Porter (the narrator) is amazing.

Well obviously. But then I'm forced to dump my credits all at once instead of having them at my disposal when I hear about a good book from a friend, etc
Just put membership on hold, or you can always pay the $9 or so to keep your account active for 1 year without continued subscription and your points and all other member benefits are still available.

For those that aren't Audible members, some of these audiobooks are on sale in Google Play. I picked up Never Split the Difference for $6.

I totally agree the policy is shit. I paid for the credits, i want to be able to use them when i want. You can request a refund for the credits and they will give it back to you- they kind of have to in my opinion.

Why not spend all the credits before you cancel??
Can you still listen to the books you bought after cancellation?

Not sure why anyone would give a thumbs down for this... but I like your recommendations. Love Name of the Wind! Going to Pick up Infinite and Children of Time. I cannot find The Others when I search for it though.
Thanks for the recs!

But I would need to download the bought book before canceling right? Otherwise, does it still allow me to login and dl the book after cancellation?

You don't need to have an active subscription to download pre-ordered books. I've done this a number of times in the past with pre-orders that are released months after I've cancelled my subscription.
