This is designed to reduce spikes in blood sugar however it still has carbohydrates and is therefore not keto friendly.

just buy real Costco honey 5 pounds for about same price

Maltitol is a natural sugar alcohol. And although that sounds good and fine, there are some problems with it.
It cannot be absorbed by your body.
So what does your body do with it? Well it simply runs through it. That being said, even the slightest over consumption of it will give you some bad bouts of bloating, cramps, and diarrhea.he other problem with this product is Acesulfame K.Acesulfame K apparently produced lung tumors, breast tumors, rare types of tumors of other organs (such as the thymus gland), several forms of leukemia and chronic respiratory disease in several rodent studies, even when less than maximum doses were given.

So it's basically ANTIhoney as far as health benefits, even tofu bacon is better than this then😏

Correct about sugar alcohol, but completely wrong about Acesulfame K.

For those reading this thread in the future, the product in the OP is a non-sugar sweetener designed for diabetics and others who must avoid spikes in their blood sugar for specific health-related reasons. Honey is an example of a high glycemic index product that will cause a large spike in blood sugar and it's exactly what this market intends to avoid.

Exactly right - honey is the type of product this market must avoid. This is anti-honey!

Prior to doing keto, years ago, I did Atkins. There was a shop that specialized in Atkins friendly products. Peanut brittle was like my favorite thing in the world and when I saw there was Atkins friendly peanut brittle and was just as sweet and tasty, I could not believe it!

Fast forward, I ate more of it than I should have and essentially spent the entire night on the porcelain throne. I never ate anything with Malitol after that. Not only now, because it's not keto, but due to that horrific night! Sad to see it contains it, as I did quite enjoy honey Smilie
