Is the stranger things game any good?
Generally poor reviews, especially compared to the excellent first game and (less excellent)second game, which have progressively gotten worse. ST:TG3 is standard tv/movie adaptation material.

FYI: Octodad is cheaper in the Mexican eshop right now
Can you lay out the steps for a first time purchaser from the non-US e-shop? Thanks! And repped!

Definitely agree that Donut County is worth it, totally. Loved it twice over. Octodad is frustrating but also hilarious. Definitely fun to watch others play, too.
Broken Age is going to be a tough sell for anyone who's not already a fan of the point and clicks but it is a gorgeous and entertaining game, and at that price, can't lose.

+1 for Donut County. Great game. I'd just grab it on mobile if you have an iOS device (no Android version, as far as I know), but if you don't, it's a great game on the Swtich too. Super short though. Maybe like 3 hours. But it's a fun game with a funny story.

Octodad is probably more fun to watch than play.

Stranger Things 3 is meh.

Broken Age looks great, has a funny story, and good voice acting, but I don't like old school point-and-click games, so I wouldn't personally recommend it. I got lost pretty quickly when I tried to play it. But my understand is that people that like that genre really like that game.
Hey BlaneB, I have an iPad and a Switch; curious to understand why you recommend the iOS version over the Switch. Happy to buy on either, particularly given the good reviews Smilie

Who are you people that have the time to play these trash games? Everyone I know has a backlog of endless AAA games and you are experts on all of these titles.... It's odd. Im guessing you are all shills.
Why is a game that is not AAA instantly considered trash? Sound logic there, boss.

Octodad is almost worth it alone for the hilariously amateurish main theme:

Even with the discount, the iOS version is still cheaper than this. They're exactly the same game. I'd just go with the cheaper one, if I had the option. One isn't better than the other, though. There's no right choice. Just a cheaper one.

I switch between big AAA games and indies. I usually do one or two smaller indies between each AAA game. The older I get, the more I appreciate a smaller game I can finish on the weekend. I don't get to play as much during the week, so that's valuable. Not everyone only plays AAA games.

Honestly, at a certain point, and maybe you'll understand this when you're an adult, you just accept a backlog and play the games you want to play. If you get around to the rest, then that's great, and if not, oh well.

What's the second Stranger Things game? This one, Stranger Things 3: The Game, is oddly enough, only the second game in the series.

The "second" game was actually DLC for the first game. Sorry I wasn't clear on that lol

I relate to this post SO MUCH and I also must completely send love for the lowkey (not lowkey) insult about OP not being an adult.

Because even if they are, they definitely aren't. Big Grin

I bought donut county full price and so worth it at this price it's a steal for what it is, just a fun simple game with a good sense of humor
