The online (website) and in-storebusinesses are separately run (similar to walmart). The online price isn't necessarily the same as the in-store price. That's why it's important to review brickseek which is pricing information that literally comes directly from lowes.

Do i want to waste my lunch hour chasing this down... nod

If you buy it for the online price for store pickup will they adjust the price in store at the time of pick up?

My store showed the $44.75 price on Brickseek with 2 in stock. Placed order for in-store pickup to price match. As soon as I placed the order, quantity went to zero on Brickseek and price went back to $149. I'm assuming this means I won't be able to match if I pickup now?

Weird brick shows $44.75 but Lowes shows $149.
I may just buy it at the 149 price and take my chances at the store and cancel if it doesn't scan cheaper

Edit: I done did it. We'll see if they can even find one in the store.

You'll be fine, just tell them to scan it in store for the lower price

Local store says they have 3 at this price (per brickseek). Also debating whether to use my lunch time for this...

https://brickseek.com/lowes-inven...1000760612 shows $149 at 10 stores around me and in a few other zip codes around the country that I checked.

I did see $44.75 in 97005.

Prices revert to whatever lowes online has set to the retail price (when that store is selected) when stock goes to 0. Most lowes won't price match to the online price despite showing them the price when the store is selected; if they do, it's usually done by an assistant manager and requires override of the register price. It's extremely YMMV. If it's something that's being clearanced as designated by the store's inventory manager, then it's much more likely to happen. The people at the pickup desk have 20% discretion for customer satisfaction but they too are unlikely to use that discretion to drop a price if the item isn't regular price to begin with.
