There is a 8 pc set on sale for 24.99 at Sam's this month. Got 3 sets. Make pantry look so much neater! Will probably get more of those. They seem to be doing the job well too. Seal tight and everthing.

I really dont want to store things long term in plastic. Anyone know of glass ones that are reasonably priced?
Boost. Also interested in glass containers to limit my purchase and use of plastic.

Not a good deal. These are the cheaper Pop container line from OXO. The better version is the 'Good Grip' containers. They have thicker plastic, better seals and mechanism.
Do you have links to compare the two? I can't find the ones you are taking about

edit: these are called oxo good grip POP containers. Are there really two different kinds?

By no means are they unhealthy. The reason they aren't kept in the house is portion control. Love me some beans.
If portion control is the problem, I'd try keeping all food out of the house.

Not quite the same in quantity and I can't speak for comparison in quality, but I've read some comments about preferring glass jars vs plastic (or whatever "high" quality material this uses) and I want to provide this link here.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...1ZMJLJJRIS

Right now it has a $5 off coupon that will apply at cart for the set of four. Reviews are pretty good and Fakespot rates them as C, which to me is taken more of a caution than a red flag like a F rating would give me.

Ignore this guy... He's referencing a different brand container. Not OXO.

Unfortunately, those fall into the carb category. I have no self-control when it comes to portions so I can't have them in the house.
Then what to eat in this world?

I got these a while back and they are not airtight. Some bugs got into my rice even though it was sealed. Maybe one of the lids was faulty, but they have been good other than that one time.

It's possibly the rice had bug eggs in it before you put it in the containers. No real way to know if they snuck in after the fact or not.
