I have been debating if I should run away from my family. This really sealed the deal for me.

Greyhound is still around? It was pretty scary in the early 1980's when I used to take it.

You'll be happy to know it is about the same, maybe even a little worse.

If you carefully follow the news, you would never know about the bus industry. High flying media personalities report on every square inch of cushion comfort on airline jets. Airline food, airline wait times, new first class airline bag limits and everything.

Greyhound and the entire bus industry that lowly working people use is unknown to them.

No, it's gone, people don't travel by bus anymore anywhere :|

But..I did just try to book a trip with this code and the price doesn't seem to reflect it.

Just saying that when I was a kid you couldn't take a trip on the freeway without seeing a Greyhound bus. Now I could go weeks without seeing one, and I commute on the freeway every day.

Back in the 1970's it was a very affordable way to travel. Just interesting people who road on it. People who couldn't afford to fly, like me, or to destinations where you couldn't fly, like Altus OK where I was stationed.
