Woot.com - $10 off $15 promo code YMMV

Received an email from Woot with a code for $10 off any order over $15. The code seems pretty generic and the email says nothing about it being targeted so I believe it should work for everyone but ymmv. The code is;

WOOT2020

It is targeted and will only work on the accounts they sent them too, I've gotten a few of those emails from them before.

Thanks for sharing. I have received similar, generic-seeming codes from Woot in the past. They all seem to be targeted and will only work on certain accounts. I just tried this one and it doesn't work on my account.

Thanks,
Tofu Vic

Can confirm that this code does not apply to everyone except for those who are invited.

Does anyone know if Prime trial would work for free shipping? Got it on one of my accounts but it does not have Prime.

Are you able to connect your Woot account to your Prime account? (I don't know if that would mess up the Woot account that is already connected to your Prime account, if you have one.) I have a very old Woot account - which I created before Amazon acquired Woot in 2010 - and after connecting it to my Prime account, I am able to get free shipping on it.

Looks like it's already connected to my non-prime account so I don't think I'm able to un-link it and connect it to my Prime account. I can give the trial option a try and cancel after. First, I have to find something to buy haha.

Can't you add your non-prime account to your prime account's household to share prime benefits?

If you sign out and sign back in with the Woot-only account, it un-links the Amazon account by default. Then at the checkout page any Amazon account can be linked for free shipping. At least, that's how it works for me.
