Amazon has a great deal on this Panasonic rice cooker, this is a made in Japan Model and with the coupon price of $347.99 is the lowest I've ever seen for this type product of product. Make sure when on the page you select Amazon as the seller or you will not get the $50 off the price

I follow a very simple recipe that I found online with my instapot and Jasmine rice and my kids like it more than the takeout places. Perfect every time. Why in the world would anyone pay $350 to make rice at home.......SMDH

Any secret to making zero rice stick to the IP? My main issue with cooking rice in it.

I have a zojirushi that was in the $20-30 range iirc and the rice always comes out great. I guess this is better if you leave the rice sitting around for a long time or want to cook other stuff? Not really understanding the premium in price.

First thing I did was ditch my SS inner pot and bought the non stick version. Rice will still stick a little bit, but its an easy cleanup if you soak for a few minutes. Cleaning the rice is the most important step in making good rice and easy to clean up rice. Then I add a little bit of oil and salt to the rice and water and cook on an appropriate rice setting depending on how much I am making.

I've been eyeing a fancy rice cooker to finally replace my SHARP Micom Ricecooker that is 15 years old.
Might bite on this one. Thanks.

Some people are peculiar with the rice they ate, since I'm Asian we ate rice almost daily. Buy a good Koshihikari rice and you can taste a difference between it and a plain CalRose / Jasmine Rice, especially the one cooked in IH rice cooker
